Two people have been arrested after evading police in an allegedly stolen car in Tullamarine this morning.
The car was seen driving erratically along Melrose Drive about 1.10am on November 10.
Police tried to intercept the car on the Western Ring Road but the vehicle sped off and police disengaged.
The car was then spotted by Highway Patrol Units heading along Sydney Road, Campbellfield.
Tyre deflation devices were deployed on Hume Highway near Craigieburn Road and the car stopped.
An 18-year-old man from Craigieburn and a 19-year-old woman from Mickleham were arrested.
Both people are assisting police with their enquiries.
