Zenith Network wellness market has Doreen in its sights

A wellness market offering everything from gut health help to remedial massage and yoga is coming to Doreen.

The Zenith Network, which runs health and wellbeing markets in Coburg and Collingwood, will run a monthly market at Brookwood Community Centre featuring 50 stalls, live music, health professionals, wellness workshops and kids activities.

Zenith Network founder Christopher Irving said he hoped the event would positively influence community health and wellbeing.

“This dedicated wellness market is more of an experience where you can attend a wellbeing workshop on anything from gut health to hip-hop yoga, [and] chat and interact with qualified health practitioners,” he said.

HOPE FOR TREES: Ancient Doreen red gums could be saved

Mr Irving said Doreen was chosen as the network’s third location because the outer north was calling out for “something of city quality in the suburbs”.

He said the markets started two years ago as a way to increase exposure for the network’s health practitioners.

“It has grown into something beyond what we ever expected,” he said.

The market will be held on Sunday, June 30, from 2.30-6.30pm.
