Doreen link to winning lotto syndicate

Ten members of a lotto syndicate – including one who bought their syndicate share in Doreen- can look forward to a hefty boost to their bank accounts after scoring the division one prize in last night’s Monday Lotto draw.

The syndicate entry was the only division one winning entry across Australia. The entry won a division one prize of $1 million.

As well as winning division one, the syndicate entry also scored division three 42 times and division four 315 times, boosting the total win to $1,026,247.90.

Each member of the syndicate receives a share worth $102,624.79.

Shares into the central syndicate were purchased at 10 The Lott by Tatts outlets across Melbourne including Laurimar News & Lotto in Doreen.

The other winning shares were purchased at Moomba Park Authorised News, Fawkner; Greythorn Post, News & Lotto, Balwyn North; Endeavour Lotto & News, Endeavour Hills; Ivanhoe News & Tatts, Ivanhoe; Northland Lotto & News, Preston; Lygon Street North Newsagency, Brunswick East; Broadway Lotto, Reservoir; Racecourse Lucky Lotto & News, Flemington; and Cotham Authorised Newsagency, Kew.

The Lott spokesperson Ally Ramsamy said some syndicate members held unregistered entries and might not yet realise their syndicate entry won big.

“I can imagine there are going to be 10 very happy Victorians once they discover they’ve shared a division one win,” she said.

“Previous syndicate members have told us they’ve used their share of a major prize to pay off mortgages, buy new cars or to go and plan future travel expeditions.

“However these syndicate members choose to spend their prize, we are sure they will find a way to enjoy it.

“While we’ll be reaching out to those syndicate members who registered their entries to their Tatts Cards, there are many syndicate members who have unregistered entries and may not yet know they’re part of this winning group.

“If you purchased a share in a syndicate for the recent Monday Lotto draw, today’s the day to check it, which you can do online or via The Lott app! If you discover you’re holding a winning share, call The Lott on 131 868 to start the prize claim process!”

The winning numbers in Monday & Wednesday Lotto draw 4106 on 23 August 2021 were 44, 12, 10, 26, 35 and 25, while the supplementary numbers were 28 and 38.
