Get ready to witness Gumnut Park like you’ve never seen it before.
On Saturday June 21, Olivine in Donnybrook will light up with Oil Glow – a free winter event transforming the beloved adventure playground into a glowing celebration of art and nature.
From 6pm to 8pm, families can explore a magical display of illuminated Australian native animals, handcrafted by the renowned artists at the Lanternist.
Think kangaroos, wombats, snakes and cockatoos lit up in vivid colour, creating a spellbinding outdoor gallery with a backdrop of the night sky.
Kids can enjoy a fun craft activity, while the Shared Cup Cafe will keep hands warm and bellies happy.
Plus, the first 200 visitors will receive a complimentary hot chocolate – perfect for sipping while wandering through the glowing scenes.
The event is hosted by Olivine developer Mirvac.
Whether you’re a local or a curious visitor, Oli Glows promises a heart-warming night of wonder, light and laughter.
“Oli Glows is a great opportunity for Olivine residents and the wider community to come together for this inspiring and magical event,” Mirvac’s development director of Masterplanned Communities in Victoria, Glen Greening said.
“Our hope is that it celebrates community, creativity and connection – bringing everyone together under the stars at Gumnut Park and Adventure Playground.”
Entry is free but tickets are limited – visitors are encouraged to register early.
