There will be disruptions to traffic on the M80 Ring Road Altona-bound this weekend.
The Sydney Road exit ramp on the M80 Altona-bound will be closed overnight on Sunday, December 19, between 9pm and 5am, the Department of Transport has announced.
The closure will allow for upgrade works to be done for the M80 Upgrade project.
The project will widen the freeway and ramps and install a new freeway management system on its completion.
The department said motorists are advised to detour via Mahoneys Road, Edgars Road, Cooper Street and the Hume Highway this weekend.
