Cyclist killed in Attwood

Police are investigating a fatal collision in Attwood on the evening of Tuesday 7 October.

A car and a bicycle collided at the corner of Mickleham Road and Bateman Street shortly before 7pm.

The male cyclist died at the scene despite attempts from emergency services to treat him.

The driver of the car stopped at the scene and was taken to hospital for observation.

Detectives from the Major Collision Investigation Unit are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the collision.
