Creeds Farm Living & Learning Centre in Epping have launched a Chatty Cafe to better connect the community and open up conversation.
Creeds Farm chair Christina DiPierdomenico spoke on the isolation felt by so many locals during the months of lockdown endured and said the chatty cafe is a way to reconnect the community.
“We’re creating spaces where people can reconnect with each other,” Ms DiPierdomenico said.
Running every Wednesday, the Chatty Cafe is part of a global movement to bring people together.
The Chatty Cafe includes question prompts and helpful ways to ease into conversation with others you may have never met.
Creeds Farm will be hosting an open day for the community to come and see what’s to offer on Saturday, September 17.
With entertainment organised on the day, including a mermaid visit, smoking ceremony and craft workshops the not-for-profit can’t wait to welcome back the community after recently completed renovations.
