Visitors to Craigieburn Central, Pacific Epping and Epping North shopping centre are being encouraged to get tested for COVID-19.
COVID-19 response commander Jeroen Weimar said anyone who has visited any of the sites in the last two weeks is encouraged to get tested, even if asymptomatic.
“We are so, so determined to use this opportunity to run this into the ground,” Mr Weimar said.
The call comes after Mr Weimar confirmed transmission of the virus in these areas occurred from “fleeting contact” between strangers.
