A positive COVID-19 case has been reported at a second Craigieburn school.

“The department will be in contact with anyone that needs to isolate as a primary close contact, therefore everyone needs to isolate whilst this is being done,” the school said in a statement to parents, seen by Star Weekly.

The closure of Willmott Park follows a positive case at Mt Ridley College, which was announced by the state government on Saturday.

The government revealed on Sunday that 700 students and staff from Mt Ridley were in isolation as a result of the positive case.

Victoria recorded five new cases of the virus on Monday.
