A Coolaroo man, 30, has faced court over the alleged rape of a teenage girl in Roxburgh Park last month.
The man appeared in an out of sessions hearing on Thursday night after being charged by sexual crimes squad detectives.
He is facing one count of aggravated burglary and four counts of rape in relation to the Roxburgh Park incident, where he allegedly sexually assaulted a 16-year-old girl in her bed.
He has also been charged with one count of aggravated burglary and three counts of rape over a New Year’s Eve attack on a 38-year-old woman in her Coolaroo home.
Police spokeswoman Belinda Batty said the man has been remanded to appear in Melbourne Magistrates Court on Friday.
