Concerns for missing Broadmeadows teen

There are increasing concerns for a 13-year-old Broadmeadows girl who has been missing for more than two weeks.

Police are appealing to the public to help find Roukaya Feneiche who was last seen at her Camp Road home on Friday October 30.

Acting Senior Sergeant Anita Brens said the teenager could be with a friend who lives in Dandenong and drives a silver 2002 model Toyota edan.

“Family members and police are concerned for Roukaya’s welfare due to her age and the length of time that she has been missing,” she said.

Her mother Serine said she deactivated her Facebook account on the day she went missing.

“I don’t know if that’s something she did or was told to do, but it’s very concerning.”

She described her daughter as super intelligent, very fussy and very kind.

“She’s also very naïve so we need to make sure she’s okay.”

Roukaya has absconed in the past, she said, but would stay in contact with a friend or someone known to her family.

“She did indicate that she was thinking about it. But this time there’s been absolutely no contact since last Tuesday,” Serine said. “I just want her to make contact so that we know she’s okay.”

“She’s not in any kind of trouble we just want her home”

Her family has created a Facebook page and have shared photos of a 25-year-old man they fear she is living with named Anthony.

Broadmeadows-based Acting Sergeant Shaun Hillier said she lives with her father in Broadmeadows.

“She doesn’t have any access to funds or a mobile phone.”

Roukaya is about 165 cm tall with a medium build, dark brown straight shoulder length hair shaved on one side, green eyes and a fair complexion.

Police urging anyone who may have seen her or knows where she is to call 000 immediately.
