Victoria Police are urging the community to be aware of potential scams, following scam awareness week this week.
In a post to the Eyewatch –Whittlesea Police Service Area Facebook page, police said anyone who received unexpected messages containing links should not click on the link.
The texts may be about a missed delivery, changes to an account, or purporting to be a voicemail.
