All the fun of the fair will make its way to Mernda later this month.

The Mernda and District Residents Association is putting the finishing touches to this year’s Mernda Community Fair.

It will be held at Mernda Recreation Reserve on Sunday, March 25, from 11am-4pm.

The annual event, which is in its sixth year, promises heaps of fun for everyone in the community.

There will be food trucks, pony rides, an animal farm, rides, a reptile show and a classic cars display, as well as a market running throughout the day.

Sandy Wallis, from the residents’ association, said the fair started in 2012 as a way to bring the community together.

She said the event aimed to celebrate the businesses and clubs that called Mernda home, while also providing families with a low-cost day of entertainment.
