Collision causes delays on Western Ring Road

Drivers are warned to expect delays on the Western Ring Road (M80) following a vehicle collision near Gladstone Park and Gowanbrae this afternoon, Tuesday 7 October.

The right lane is currently closed in the Altona-bound direction after Pascoe Vale Road, with four lanes remaining open. Speed has been reduced to 40km/h while emergency services and road crews attend the scene.

Motorists are urged to use the left lane and drive with caution through the affected area.

The incident is impacting traffic through Hume City, Merri-bek City and the wider Melbourne metropolitan area.
