Coles, Big W workers test COVID-19 positive

In an update about exposure sites on their website, Coles confirmed the staff member worked on; Wednesday, November 17; Thursday, November 18; and Friday, November 19, all between 7am and 2pm.

Coles said that in accordance with advice from the Victorian health department, customers are not required to seek a test or isolate unless symptoms develop.

Meanwhile, a staff member at Big W’s Epping store also tested positive for COVID-19 last week.

In a statement on their website, the Woolworths Group advised that the staff member worked on Sunday, November 14 between 8.56am and 6pm.

It comes as Estia Health South Morang aged care facility recorded an active case of the virus, and several deaths.

Estia Health have been contacted for comment.

Active cases have been recorded at Al Siraat College in Epping (45), Our Lady’s Catholic Primary School, Craigieburn, (42), Greenvale Primary School (38), and Ilim College, Dallas, (30), the department said.
