Police have charged a Westmeadows man following a fatal shooting in Campbellfield on December 20.
It’s alleged a man was shot outside a property in Gentles Avenue about 10.10pm.
The victim, a 60-year-old Craigieburn man, died in hospital.
Two men, a 20-year-old Yarraville man and a 22-year-old Westmeadows man, came to police attention after being dropped off at a hospital with injuries.
The 20-year-old was remains in hospital under police guard.
The 22-year-old Westmeadows man was charged with one count of murder on Saturday night and was set to appear in court.
