Charcoal chicken shop fire

A Craigieburn charcoal chicken shop caught fire on Saturday afternoon.

The store, at Craigieburn Junction on Craigieburn Road, caught fire about 2.50pm.

Fire Rescue Victoria (FRV) crews arrived on the scene to find the 10 metre by 10 metre shop on fire.

Craigieburn Junction was evacuated with firefighters ventilating the smoke.

The incident was declared under control at 3.37 pm, with the scene handed over to Victoria Police.
