Greenvale’s Living Legends has added two more champions to its stable.

The historic homestead welcomed Buffering – one of Australia’s highest money-earners – and Tasmanian horse The Cleaner about a month ago.

Both horses have settled in well with the homestead’s other retired champions.

Buffering’s race record stands at 19 wins from 54 starts, earning owners $7.3 million in prize money.

He is the seventh Australian horse to surpass the $7 million prize money mark.

Hume mayor Drew Jessop said it was phenomenal to have a horse of Buffering’s calibre at Living Legends.

The Cleaner, who had consecutive wins at Moonee Valley, garnered cult status among racing enthusiasts.

He had 58 starts, recording 19 wins and 16 placings.

He won five stakes races and earned more than $1.3 million in prize money.

“Buffering and The Cleaner join a number of well-known horses, such as Fields of Omagh, Might and Power, and Rogan Josh,” Cr Jessop said.

“Living Legends celebrated their 10th anniversary this spring carnival, and having these two new horses arrive has added to this great milestone.”

Living Legends is at the Woodlands Historic Park.
