Hume council has rescheduled its Craigieburn Carols by Candlelight event to Sunday, December 8 due to forecasted wet weather conditions.
Originally scheduled to run on December 7, council made the decision to ensure the community, performers and vendors have the “best opportunity to enjoy the event”.
“We understand that some people may no longer be able to attend,” the council said in a statement.
“However, we want to deliver the best event possible, and we thank you for understanding.”
All attendees are strongly advised to bring their own seating and chairs, as due to the earlier rainfall the ground will be wet.
Pre-event activities kick off from 5 pm at the Craigieburn Anzac Park, main stage performances will go from 7 to 9 pm, and the fireworks finale is scheduled for 8.55 pm.
