A Campbellfield car parts factory was destroyed by fire on Thursday night.
More than 50 firefighters battled the blaze for more than two hours, but were unable to save the factory.
The fire started at Hyon All Parts on Sydney Road about 8.47pm.
The factory was fully ablaze when firefighters arrived on the scene.
Firefighters were forced to take precautions after a full gas cylinder was found on the property.
Smoke from the blaze covered parts of Campbellfield but did not pose a threat to the community.
The damage bill is estimated to reach millions of dollars.
The cause of the fire in being investigated.
