UPDATE: Trains have resumed on the Mernda Line.
Buses were replacing trains on the Mernda Line between Bell Street and Epping stations after a person was hit by a train.
Trains have resumed, but there is minor delays.
Metro asks for passengers to check station platform displays and listen for announcements.
Motorists are also asked to be vigilant for extra pedestrians and buses around train stations on the Mernda line.
It comes after there were delays on the Mernda line this morning due to an equipment fault near Flinders Street station.
