Bunnings to open more vax pop-ups

Additional hubs will open in the coming weeks to encourage Victorians to get the jab.

Residents in Hume and Whittlesea looking to get vaccinated can now get their jab at Bunnings in Craigieburn and Mill Park.

To support outer-suburban and culturally and linguistically diverse populations, the state’s health services will be staging dozens of additional vaccination hubs around Victoria.

Just over half the eligible population of Hume and Whittlesea have received their third dose, according to the Department of Health.

Health Minister Martin Foley said he’s “delighted” by the partnership with Bunnings.

“The vaccine not only saves lives, it significantly reduces your chance of getting COVID-19, passing it onto others, or going to hospital.”

“These pop-ups will focus particularly on areas with fewer points of GP and pharmacy access and provide an easy and convenient way to get a jab while doing some shopping.”

The pop-up opens daily from 8am – 12pm and will run until March 27.

Bunnings Craigieburn is located at 700 Hume Highway and Bunnings Mill Park at 761 Plenty Road.
