Police are investigating an attempted burglary at a CFA building in Bulla on July 8.
Police said a blue sedan rammed the roller door of the premises on Green Street, about 7.55pm.
In a statement posted to Facebook, Bulla CFA said police and brigade members arrived quickly on the scene, after the driver fled after the crash triggered the alarm.
The brigade also said this happened while volunteers were responding to a motor vehicle accident, and volunteers were delayed in accessing essential equipment.
There was no impact to their response time.
Police said nothing was stolen from the property and no one was inside at the time.
