Major Road Projects Victoria has completed recent works to widen Bowman Drive at Childs Road.
The area is now ready for the installation of permanent traffic lights during the second half of this year.
Once this intersection upgrade is complete, drivers on Bowman Drive will have designated left and right turning lanes to access Childs Road.
Works on the Darebin Creek Trail have been extended due to recent wet weather conditions.
As a result, the path will now reopen on Monday, May 23.
