Police are investigating the death of a person in a house fire in Campbellfield on Thursday, May 26.
Emergency services attended the Sydney Road house after reports of smoke rising from the residence about 7.50pm.
Once the fire was extinguished, a search was conducted and a body was found.
The deceased is yet to be identified.
The exact cause of the fire is yet to be determined and the investigation is ongoing.
