Hume and Whittlesea residents will be eligible from Friday, July 1, 2022 to apply for a $250 financial support to go towards their electricity bills in an initiative from the Victorian Government to assist with the rising cost of living.
To claim the bonus residents will first need to check if they are eligible via the Victorian Government’s energy compare website, then compare their current price with other deals.
You may not end up changing energy providers but you will be eligible to claim the $250 bonus either way to assist with your next bill.
Minister for Energy, Environment and Climate Action Lily D’Ambrosio said, “This is about helping Victorian families now, while we keep building on our investment in renewable energy – creating thousands of jobs and giving every single Victorian a fairer power bill.”
