Applications to be a part of Whittlesea’s annual art exhibition are now open.

This year’s theme, Hope, Exploring the Spectrum of Possibility, allows artists of all ages and levels of experience to explore what hope means to them.

“Artists are invited to reflect on hope, from feeling low to very positive, from personal wishes to collective or shared goals, and all the moments in between,” Whittlesea council said.

“Show us your visions of a better future, your dreams of a perfect world, and your hopes for change. How does hope guide us? How does it help us stay strong during tough times? How does it make us resilient? Does hope last forever? Is hope what makes us human? How do you show and respond to this in your art?”

Applications to be a part of the exhibition close on November 18.

The exhibition will run from January 17 to February 7, 2025.
