Appeal for information following Lalor carjacking

Police are appealing for information following an aggravated carjacking in Lalor on Tuesday, November 1.

Police have been told two men in a Nissan X-Trail approached a man in Maguire Street about 9pm and threatened him with a firearm.

The victim, a 41-year-old Lalor man, fled the scene in his vehicle the men fired a shot from the Nissan into the victim’s vehicle in Blessington Parade.

The victim’s vehicle collided into a residential fence in Donovan Street before the victim managed to flee.

Shortly later, three people approached a man sitting in a silver Skoda sedan in Carney Street, Lalor.

The trio threatened the 28-year-old Lalor man with a firearm before an altercation took place between the victim and the men.

The three men then fled the scene in the victims Skoda sedan.

There were no reported injuries to both victims during the incidents.
