Police said the incident happened at the intersection of Aitken Boulevard and Mount Ridley Road on Thursday, September 23.

Police attempted to locate the motorbike that was involved in the incident, but it sped off.

The bike was later found abandoned in a side street, police said.

Police said they have been unable to identify the owner and the driver of the motorbike and are appealing for anyone with information about the incident to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online via www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
