Andrews reveals his new cabinet

Three Hume and Whittlesea MPs have been named in Premier Daniel Andrews’ new-look cabinet.

Mill Park MP Lily D’Ambrosio has been named as the first State Electricity Commission minister. She will also serve as climate action, energy and resources minister, however will hand over her environment portfolio to Ingrid Stitt.

Bundoora MP Colin Brooks will swap his child protection and family services and disability, ageing and carers ministries for housing and multicultural affairs.

Kalkallo MP Ros Spence will continue as prevention of family violence minister and sport minister, but will drop the multicultural affairs and youth ministries. Instead, Ms Spence will take on the role of suburban development minister.

The cabinet will be led by Mr Andrews who will serve his third-term as premier of Victoria, and should he see out the full four years, he will become Labor’s longest serving premier.
