A new program will help Hume residents and Kangan Institute students interested in a career educating the next generation to reach their goal sooner.
In a post to the Hume City Council Facebook page, the council announced that Victoria University and Hume Multiversity were offering eligible residents the opportunity to do an accelerated bachelor of early childhood education.
“If you hold a diploma of early childhood education, you may be eligible to enrol in an exciting new pilot program that allows you to complete your bachelor of early childhood education in only two years,” the council said in the post.
The program will include a blended online and local offering for residents of Hume and students of the Kangan Institute.
There will be two information sessions about the program, on Wednesday, January 19 from 1.30pm to 2.30pm, and on Monday, February 7 from 7pm to 8pm.
