A grass fire in Yan Yean has been brought under control.
The Country Fire Authority was called to the scene near Yan Yean Road about 1.30pm on Wednesday.
CFA crews from Whittlesea, Mernda, Kalkaloo and Doreen attended and contained the fire within 15 minutes.

An “all-clear” message was issued just after 2.30pm and the area has now been declared safe.
Smoke still lingers in the area and will remain visible from nearby areas and roads.
A spokeswoman from the CFA said there was no threat to the community.
She said emergency crews might remain on the site for some time.
