Armed trio attack woman in Reservoir break and enter

Three armed intruders kicked open the door of a 13-year-old’s Reservoir bedroom and demanded money early on Tuesday morning.

Two women and a nine-year-old girl were also at home when the trio, armed with a firearm and a crow bar, forced entry through a rear door of the Boldrewood Parade premises about 6.25am.

A 30-year-old woman met the intruders in the hallway and was hit on the forehead causing a gash.

The 35-year-old woman and the young girl were not injured and the offenders fled with stolen cash, driving off in a silver Ford Fiesta and on a motorbike.

Preston Crime Investigation Unit detectives yesterday released a face image of a man they wish to interview.
