Music will fill Le Page homestead on Sunday for the Hawkstowe Music Festival.

The annual festival at the historic South Morang homestead will feature performances by local musicians and bands.

Among them will be Epping’s St Monica’s College band, with students gathering last week to put the finishing touches to their performance pieces.

There will also be children’s activities, including an animal farm and face painting.

A barbecue will be provided by Mill Park Garden Club, or you can bring your own picnic. Beer and wine will be on sale.

It’s at the Hawkstowe picnic area at Plenty Gorge Park, Gordons Road, South Morang, from 1-5pm.

Tickets are available at the gate and cost $5 for adults and $2 for children aged 6-14.
