RG Restaurants celebrate its 60th KFC

The north will soon welcome a brand-new restaurant with the grand opening of KFC Craigieburn East!

There will be discounted go buckets, merch giveaways and a ribbon cutting ceremony. The date is still to be announced so keep your eyes peeled!

This is a special occasion for the Retzos family as they are opening their 60th restaurant. The Retzos family, operating RG Restaurants, have been specialising in KFC for over 30 years.

The group takes pride in a few regional Victorian areas and many northern and western Melbourne suburbs in which their stores are located. They now provide 3500 plus jobs to Victorians and stive to continue growing and offering new and exciting opportunities to local communities.

In the processes of preparing for the opening, restaurant manager Bec and her two assistant managers, Matilda and Aleyna, have worked tirelessly and exceptionally, with special mention of their area coach, Carmel, who has been an integral part of KFC in the northern suburbs for 17 years.

The team has recruited 60 staff from the local area who have trained at nearby restaurants in the north.

This restaurant will be a welcome addition to the existing Craigieburn store which has been booming for 4 years and remained strong throughout COVID-19. The new store will provide added convenience for those living at the eastern end of Craigieburn, fulfilling residents’ fried chicken cravings as well as an easy stop off for traffic travelling the Hume Highway.

The team look forward to inviting customers to this exciting new store located at 650 Hume Highway, Craigieburn.
