At Mernda Hills Christian College, our newest group of Foundation students have now completed the first term of their educational adventure and are already embodying our core values of respect, responsibility, resilience, and being a learner.
The past few months have been filled with excitement, discovery, and significant milestones for our young learners. They have quickly settled into routines, built strong friendships and experienced growth academically, socially and spiritually.
This term our Foundation students eagerly look forward to their first class of Bush School, where every Friday, the students spend their afternoon learning outside. There are many benefits of learning in an outdoor environment. Bush School time each week allows students the opportunity to engage in open-ended, diverse and meaningful learning that is connected to God’s creation and aspects of the curriculum.
As we look ahead to the rest of the school year, we are filled with anticipation for the continued growth and achievements of our Foundation students. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to the entire Mernda Hills community for your unwavering support and encouragement. Together, we continue to inspire and empower our students to reach their full potential.
