Fostering wildife

Neighbourhood house

Pop into Thomastown Neighbourhood House, 52 Main Street, on Mondays from 6-7.30pm until August 28 for community conversations. There are makers morning drop-in sewing sessions on Thursdays from 10am-1pm and meditation classes on Wednesdays from 10-11am.

Join author Barry Dickens for a writing workshop at Whittlesea library, 57 Laurel Street, on Wednesday, August 9, 1-2.30pm. Dickens will also talk about his new book about Ronald Ryan, the last man hanged in Australia. Dickens’ talk is part of the Whittlesea Writers Festival.
