DVCA: Bundoora let down by batsmen in Barclay Shield

Bundoora bats failed to fire as Lower Eltham won by 55 runs in the Diamond Valley Cricket Association’s Barclay Shield on Saturday.

The Bulls never recovered from 4-23 and, with only Shupinder Taggar (24) passing 20, Bundoora was out for 121 in reply to 7-176.

Old Paradians-St Francis also came up short, making 172 chasing North Eltham Wanderers’ 195.

John Bubis (42) top scored for the Wolves while Udhara Hewa Wellalage (29no) ran out of partners.
