Whittlesea Ranges’ Lukmon Anifaloyin was crowned the best and fairest player in FFV state league 2 north-west last week.
Anifaloyin polled 18 votes to win the award by one from Sydenham Park’s Koce Delev.
Whittlesea United also had a best and fairest winner: Volkan Kalayci in state league 4 north.
Kalayci polled 20 votes to win by two from Ofosu Abdullrazak, who played for both Heidelberg Stars and Upfield during the season.
Northern Roosters’ Sinan Mirik finished third in the poll with 17 votes.
Bundoora United’s George Jolevski shared the state league 5 award with Fawkner’s Vincenzo Ierardo. Both were tied on 22 votes, two clear of Heidelberg Eagles’ Genc Musila.
There was a podium finish for Plenty Valley Lions in the women’s leagues, with Madonna Salama third in women’s state league 3 north.
Salama’s 15 votes was good enough for third, behind winner Amelia Radford, from Brunswick Zebras (30) and Prudence Robertson, of Fitzroy City (22).
