Electricity distributor Jemena and Landcare Australia are hosting a free Live. Grow. Explore. community day. Star of the show will be TV gardener Vasili Kanidiadis and there’ll be a feast of family fun, free food, and environmental and energy awareness workshops. Interact and learn on the ‘sustainability trail’. It’s at Living Legends at Woodlands Historic Park, Oaklands Road, Greenvale, on March 15, 11am-4pm.

Retirement Village open day

If you’re over 55 or have parents who are, come along to a Highlands Retirement Village open day on Saturday, February28, from 10am-2pm. There will be a photographic exhibition, free sausage sizzle, morning tea, outdoor bowls, Petanque games and information sessions on retirement village living.

Craigieburn Support Group

The Craigieburn Support Group will offer tai chi, Nordic walking and chair-based exercises by trained volunteers from mid-March. The group also has monthly meetings and outings.
