National Sorry Day: Whittlesea Reconciliation Group to host commemoration

THE Whittlesea Reconciliation Group will hold a National Sorry Day commemoration.

The event will include a ceremonial walk, led by local Aboriginal elder Reg Blow, with councillors and reconciliation group members.

Flags at the council will be flown at half-mast in recognition of the Stolen Generation and their families.

The event will be held on Friday, May 25 from 10am-1pm at the Civic Centre, 25 Ferres Boulevard, South Morang.

All are welcome to attend.
