‘Unexpected’ artistic treat for Thomastown’s High Street precinct

THOMASTOWN will host an installation of 70 artworks in unexpected places in the High Street precinct this month.

The art project will involve up to 37 artists putting temporary works on pavements, walls, planters and in other unexpected places.

Renowned aboriginal country and western musician Yammatji Wungagnarlie Wundaa will perform Black Elvis and other classic tunes at the launch on Saturday, May 19 from noon-2pm outside the Melbourne Kebab Station in High Street. The exhibition will run until August 31.
