SOUTH Morang resident Trevor Carroll (right) has been honoured for his work as a disability activist with a scholarship from the Harvard Club of Victoria.
Mr Carroll’s scholarship includes a place at the Harvard Club of Australia’s three-day non-profit leaders workshop in Sydney in August, addressed by academics from the prestigious US university.
As executive officer of Disability Justice Advocacy, Mr Carroll’s fight for equal rights is part of his life and his work.
He is currently considering taking action in the Victorian Equal Opportunity and Human Rights Commission over the lack of a ramp at South Morang station.
