Magpie star Dane Swan and champion Australian boxer Sam Soliman have told male Lalor Secondary College students to “walk away from violence”.
The sportsmen are spreading their anti-violence message to male students across the state through the Department of Justice’s “Choices: Live No Fear” campaign.
They visited Lalor Secondary College last week.
School principal Silvana Sena said the sportsmen hoped teenagers would learn to avoid confrontations.
Soliman is the International Boxing Federation world number two middleweight boxer. He said people often challenged him because of the title but he refused to fight.
