A YOUNG woman was robbed at knife point in Thomastown last night.
Police said the woman passed a man standing in front of the Commonwealth Bank on Main Street about 10.40pm. She heard footsteps from behind and saw the same man running at her with a knife.
He stole the 18-year-old’s handbag and fled. The woman, from Thomastown, was not injured.
The offender is about 160 centimetres with dark hair and was wearing a fluorescent yellow top.
