Whittlesea council elections will be run entirely by post for all residents on the electoral roll, not only ratepayers. Ballot packs will be mailed to voters in the second week of October.
Those who will be away should get packs redirected to an alternative address or request an early postal vote.
To redirect, mail a request to the Returning Officer, Whittlesea council elections, Victorian Electoral Commission, Level 11, 530 Collins Street, Melbourne, 3000, or fax the request to 9277 7126, or scan and email to redirections@vec.vic.gov.au, by 5pm on Thursday, September 20.
People wanting an early postal vote must contact the VEC by Wednesday, September 19, on 8405 3987.
