There’s only one thing comedian Akmal Saleh wants the audience to expect when he performs at the Plenty Ranges Arts Centre on April 17.
“I’ll be there wearing pants,” he says, laughing. “That was terrible last year. People made such a fuss. You learn from your past mistakes and make a point of remembering.”
Saleh’s quick wit and cheeky sense of humour have established him as one of Australia’s most successful comedians.
His show, fresh from a stint at the Melbourne International Comedy Festival, promises to be his best.
“It’s nothing but fun and laughter and joy,” he says. “And then I come on.”
