MADE in Australia branding is spearheading a campaign among Melbourne’s northern businesses to safeguard and extend their position as Victoria’s largest manufacturing centre.
A free Get the Australian Advantage information session next Tuesday will outline the help available to businesses to market Australian-made, and Australian-grown, goods and services to national and international markets.
The session will feature the benefits of marketing products as Australian-made and showcase success stories from the local sector.
The information session has been organised by Hume council’s economic development unit in conjunction with the Australian Made campaign, which is responsible for accrediting and registering companies under the familiar green and gold logo featuring a kangaroo inside a green triangle.
It’s from 7.30am at Hume Global Learning Centre, Broadmeadows.
