Broadmeadows’ Miao Miao and Bundoora’s Jing Fang Lay have won a bronze medal in the women’s table tennis teams event at the Commonwealth Games.
The duo combined in the doubles of the event and won their match 3-2.against India.
Lay also competed in the singles where she lost 3-1.
It’s the third time Miao and Lay have won a Commonwealth Games bronze medal in the teams event, after finishing third in 2002 and 2006.
The pair will combine in the women’s doubles event, while Lay will also compete in the singles.
