Occultism, magic and sorcery will be hot topics at a Macedonian Orthodox Youth of Australia (MOYA) seminar this Saturday.
An Orthodox view on these topics will be presented after the audience has shared divine liturgy, followed by a lunch of Macedonian cuisine.
The seminar will include speeches by His Eminence Petar, Bishop of the Macedonian Orthodox Diocese of Australia and New Zealand, and by Abbot Gavril Galev and Father Mile Taleski.
MOYA member Daniela Zatarakoska says the seminar is open to everyone.
“It’s a great chance for the community to embrace multiculturalism and learn about the Orthodox faith,” she said. Each guest will receive a handmade wooden gift from MOYA.
The seminar, which will have an interpreter, is from 9am at the monastery, 130 Springs Road, Donnybrook.
